On a hot - but gorgeous Sunday - I had the opportunity to see the Manor House at Sunset Crest. I love the “party barn” (accommodates 100) with its built-in bar, DJ booth, fireplace and loft, and all the great terrace space (perfect for tented events and larger parties), and the manor house will definitely be a welcome addition for brides. Imagine your guests socializing around the lovely pool with its brick patio. Or descending down the double spiral staircase for an elegant bridal portrait.

Sunset Crest sits on 80 beautiful green acres, located just off Route 234 north of the Manassas Battlefields. It’s a serene environment with a spectacular view of the Bull Run Mountains. Looking for a countryside feel for your wedding reception, as well as close-in location? Then check out the Bridal Open House this Sunday, November 22nd, at Sunset Crest Manor, located at 42165 Mayhew Lane in Chantilly.

A la Carte Caterers of Haymarket is the in-house provider for this new facility. Sunset Crest features a rustic replica barn with three levels of event space. The main level offers a stone fireplace, dance floor, DJ booth and in-house audio/video equipment (perfect for those photo montages that are so much fun at a reception.) There’s also a 5000 square foot landscaped patio offering beautiful views.
