Imagine jumping on a plane to venture off on your honeymoon with your new spouse just minutes after your wedding ends! That can be a reality if you host your wedding at the Holiday Inn Dulles located at 45425 Holiday Drive in Sterling, Virginia, and they even have a free shuttle to and from the Washington – Dulles International Airport. With a recent $7 million renovation to the entire hotel including event spaces and guest rooms, there is even more reason than ever to host your wedding at Holiday Inn Dulles.
With over 100 full time and 20 part time staff to assist you at the hotel, you will be well served for all your wedding needs, from the actual wedding event itself to hosting family members overnight in the hotel rooms. With an average of one wedding per month, they will give you one-on-one attention for your special day, while having the extensive experience of hosting many kinds of events to make it flawless.

They also have additional event spaces available for gatherings and celebrations outside the actual wedding, such as rehearsal dinner or the day after brunch. Courtesy wedding room blocks for discounted guest rooms also ensure that your guests get the best deal and enjoy themselves while staying there for your special day.
Whether you have a more traditional wedding or more unique like a Baarat (a groom’s wedding procession on horse customary in India and Pakistan), Holiday Inn Dulles can handle it. In fact, they recently had a Baarat wedding at the hotel, complete with the “groom riding his horse around to the front of the hotel,” said Michelle Pulliam, Social Catering Sales Manager at Holiday Inn Dulles. Staff is ready to accommodate special requests, like one client’s request to decorate the luggage cart to bring the groom in on for the wedding, or another groom’s request for apple pie moonshine to be served.
While many hotels in the area can host weddings indoors in large ballrooms, Holiday Inn Dulles has a unique tented courtyard that can fit up to 200 people for an outdoor wedding experience. Cocktails hours and receptions can be held outdoors as well as the actual ceremony, and menu packages can be customized.
Executive Chef Cesar Frias is passionate about food and only works with the freshest ingredients when preparing his dishes. Chef Cesar explains that “it gives me pleasure knowing that I had a hand in creating a one-of-a-kind wedding experience that one will share with friends and family members for years to come. Showing a little love and dedication is the main ingredient in preparing my dishes. Accommodating most any dietary or allergic needs without losing taste or flavor is my specialty.”
One recent bride had only positive things to say about Holiday Inn Dulles and said “We planned our wedding on a strict budget and the Holiday Inn was very willing and able to work with us from the very beginning. From my first meeting with Michelle and the rest of the staff, I knew we were in good hands. When the big day arrived, they went above and beyond to make sure the day went smoothly. Any minor hiccup, they took care of right away and made my wedding one to remember…I know I will be working with them again in the future!”
When asked what prospective brides should know about the Holiday Inn Dulles, Pulliam said, “We will exceed your expectations because the food is delicious, the presentation is beautiful and our customer service is the best!”
