Vintage Whimsy for Katherine and Mark

Katherine and Mark wanted their wedding to be relaxed and fun. They fell instantly in love with their reception site, the beautiful Heritage Prairie Farm, but wanted the decor to be more than just “rustic”. Using a color palette of blush, peach and mint, the couple created design elements that popped against the rough hewn wood of the farm’s historic barn and the lush greenery that surrounded the venue, adding an element of pastoral elegance to the day.

After their church ceremony, Katherine and Mark were ready to party. The reception tent was decked out with oversized balloons in their chosen color palette and to keep with their vintage theme, the tables were set with mismatched antique plates from the farm and blue glass vases to add an extra pop of color.

Katherine wore a blush toned Kelly Faetanini gown with vintage accessories and let her bridesmaids choose their own dresses in her chosen color scheme. Mark and his groomsmen looked dapper in their royal blue suits and vintage ties in the colors of the day.

Some of Katherine and Mark’s favorite details from their wedding were the “naked” cake, decadent dessert bar and of course, the “selfie booth” they set up in the goat barn with a backdrop that celebrated their whimsical theme. Even the goats got to enjoy a bit of mingling with the guests!
