Nicole and Evan were high school sweethearts, so when they got married they wanted their celebration to include the friends and family that had watched them grow as a couple over the years they’ve spent together. They chose the Hidden Vineyard Wedding Barn not just for it’s amazing 1800’s barn, but for the richly shaded outdoor ceremony spot and the wide open views of the vineyard and pond that are tucked away on this fully functioning farm!
Not only did the bride and her father arrive by horse and carriage, but Nicole and Evan personalized their ceremony further by enlisting their grandmothers as flower girls and having one of Nicole’s bridesmaids perform a special song on acoustic guitar before they said “I do” under a canopy of lush trees.
The color scheme of pale pinks and white leant an airy contrast to the landscape and the bridesmaids’ flowing pink gowns matched the groomsmen’s ties which complimented their dark blue suits. Evan paired his suit with a navy blue tie and Nicole wore a vintage inspired lace mermaid cut gown with a sweetheart neckline and beaded detailing.
Vintage touches like antique plates and a repurposed barn door displaying the place cards topped off the reception decor, while the stunning sunset created the perfect backdrop to an evening of lawn games, laughter, love and dancing!
