Tuyen and Jacob fell in love in Las Vegas and when they took their first trip together as a couple, they returned. So, when it came time to plan their wedding, Vegas was the natural choice, they just knew it was a destination their guests would enjoy as much as they do. Tuyen is Vietnamese and both she and Jacob are traditional at heart, so they planned a wedding that would celebrate both Eastern and Western traditions, starting with a Vietnamese tea ceremony the night before the wedding at the Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas, right in the heart of the famed Las Vegas Strip. The hotel’s unparalleled service and breathtaking views of the city’s bright lights and Mojave desert made it a sure bet!
Against the glittering backdrop of the strip, the shades of pink and gold Tuyen and Jacob chose as their palette for the day were playful and soft. Tuyen’s bridesmaids were glamorous in pale pink, side slit gowns and Jacob’s groomsmen looked dapper in grey suits with pale pink bowties. The groom was stylish in a Rat Pack inspired classic tuxedo, the perfect ensemble for a wedding in Vegas!
Tuyen went all in with fashion, wearing three different dresses during the course of the wedding. Her first, a ball gown in traditional princess style with an open V back, layered tulle skirt and lace brocade detailing was perfect for the ceremony and first dance. During dinner, before she and Jacob went table to table thanking their guests for attending, this fashionable bride changed into a Vietnamese traditional long gown called an Áo dài. Tuyen’s last dress of the evening was another stunner, a long sleeved, lace, mermaid cut gown with sparkling crystal accents which allowed her to dance the night away with Jacob and all of their guests by her side.
