Jessica is a super fun-loving and independent woman who refused to settle for anything less in a man, so when she introduced Dan to her friends and family as her “serious beau” they knew she had met her match. This lighthearted and adventurous couple didn’t want to take things too seriously, so they planned a wedding that would put the focus on fun for their guests and highlight their easygoing nature and their desire to have an amazing party for everyone!
Jessica and Dan had a traditional church ceremony before heading to their reception venue, the Water Vue at Brooks Street in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, which offered stunning views. The colors of the day were blush and gold and Jessica had her bridesmaids chose their own dress styles in the colors so that each could express her personal style. Jessica looked gorgeous in a flowing floor length Maggie Sottero gown with intricate beading and sheer detailing on the bodice which she paired with bejeweled sneakers so she’d be ready to dance all night. The groomsmen wore navy blue suits with pale gold ties while Dan looked handsome in his Air Force dress uniform, but showed his fun side by sporting an Ohio State Buckeyes shirt underneath!
For dinner, guests were seated at long family-style tables decorated with gold runners and the floral arrangements were a monochromatic mix of roses and hydrangea in pale tones of blush, pink and white. After dinner, Jessica and Dan showed their guests a good time out on the dance floor and weren’t afraid to get a little goofy when it came time to do the traditional bouquet and garter toss. The two succeeded in having a fun and lighthearted affair that they enjoyed just as much as their guests. Just look at all the smiles!
