Erin and Chad planned the perfect intimate wedding celebration at a private home in North Carolina. They both have children from previous relationships, so it was incredibly important to them that the kids be included in their ceremony. After walking down the aisle to a duo of acoustic guitar and violin, they exchanged vows as a family, first making vows to the kids and then to each other. As a symbol of their new blended family, Erin, Chad and the kids all poured different colored sand into one vase that they will have as a keepsake of their special day forever.
Erin’s gown had a simple silhouette with thin straps and a beautifully detailed bodice. Its flowing chiffon skirt gave her an ethereal look and Chad was handsome in his military dress uniform. The kids were adorable, their boys in blue suits paired with Converse and their daughter in a white dress with a crown of flowers in her hair.
The reception decor came together perfectly to create an idyllic setting for dining al fresco. The guests were all seated at one long farmhouse table with perfectly shabby chic mismatched chairs, including a small loveseat for the bride and groom. Sunflowers, eucalyptus leaves and wildflowers combined to create the perfect florals and mismatched goblets and vintage plates and flatware completed the look. After dark, strung Edison lights gave the lawn a magical feel, just right for laughter, joy, and celebration!
