Jennifer and Will’s Elegant Nashville Destination Wedding

Jennifer and Will met on their second day of school at the University of Cincinnati when Will and his roommate went down the hall of their dorm introducing themselves to everyone on the floor. They were good friends for months before they actually started dating. Since then they’ve lived in three different states together. So, a destination wedding at Nashville’s historic Union Station Hotel, a “lovingly restored, 100-year-old railway station that captures the romance of a bygone era,” was a natural choice for these happy travelers. The venue offered a seamless blend of old world charm and modern-day elegance, the perfect place to say “I do” and celebrate with loved ones.

Jennifer is a talented handbag designer, so she put her eye for style to use outfitting her bridal party! The ladies were striking in their plum gowns, each with a different neckline and the groomsmen were dapper in gray suits with coordinating vests and ties. Will stood out from his guys in a classic black three-piece tux and Jennifer’s gown was a beautiful blend of lace and sheer detailing with delicate cap sleeves and A-line styling. Paired with gold ankle-strap sandals and a short veil, her look was absolutely stunning!

After exchanging their vows “amid soaring arches, exquisite stone fireplaces, and winding staircases”, Jennifer and Will posed for portraits under the original 1900 stained-glass and barrel-vaulted ceiling of the hotel’s magnificent atrium lobby. The architecture of the historic station was enhanced by hydrangea centerpieces and accents of gold, giving the reception an air of vintage elegance, perfect for mingling with friends and family and dancing all night!
