Quin and Donny’s Woodsy Vow Renewal

Quin and Donny were married a decade ago in a very small ceremony without the fancy details and celebration that typically come with a wedding. But after ten wonderful years of marriage and three beautiful children, the couple decided it was time to celebrate their love and their amazing life together with a vow renewal ceremony and a full blown “wedding” party. Quin wanted a rustic, woodsy setting for the ceremony, so she and Donny found a secluded spot in the woods near their Northern Michigan home to reaffirm their commitment to one another.

Quin’s boho chic styled flowing gown and gorgeous blonde braids were the perfect look for the romantic woodsy setting and Donny looked cool in his vest and tie. The bridesmaids’ royal blue gowns provided a perfect contrast to the colors of the forest and the groomsmen were handsome in bow ties and suspenders. Yellow and white floral accents and a wooden arbor completed the ceremony’s styling.

After Quin and Donny said “I still do” with their adorable kids by their side, it was on to their reception at the Newberry Country Club. The bride and groom’s sweetheart table was decorated with antlers, antique lace and votive candles to enhance the rustic vibe of the day and wooden signs with quotes from the Corinthians led the way up a flight of stairs to dinner, dancing and party games, like the shoe game. Photos of Quin and Donny’s life together completed the decor and the evening was capped off by a delicious dessert buffet!
