Kayla and Matt got married in the industrial chic Eclectic Warehouse in Eclectic, Alabama. The exposed brick walls and open, loft-like space was the perfect backdrop for the fun rustic details they brought to the day and the pale pink and white color scheme gave their wedding a light and airy feel. In a celebration of their love and their faith, the couple exchanged vows on an altar adorned with a large wooden cross decked out in lush pink and white florals. Matt’s daughter, Clarke, a was big part of the ceremony. Not only did he and Kayla join their lives together, but the three of them created a whole new family, and Clarke was just about the sweetest flower girl ever!
Kayla was simply stunning in her delicately ruched trumpet cut gown with its sweetheart neckline and sparkling beaded belt. She finished off her look with a single strand of pearls, adorably embellished pink kitten-heeled sandals from Madden Girl and a long veil for added drama. Her bridesmaids were pretty in pale pink and little Clarke looked adorable in her white, ballerina dress and pearls to match her new Stepmom. Matt and his groomsmen were handsome in light gray suits paired with cornflower blue bow ties, a modern spin on a traditional look. They even wore matching suspenders for when it was time to lose the jackets!
The modern industrial reception space was decked out with classic rustic details like burlap table runners, barrels and ball jars. Wooden centerpieces with soft white and pink florals added the perfect touch of lightness to the decor and an elaborate buffet table was beautifully arranged at one end of the space. Strands of Edison lights hung high above the room, meeting in the center where an antique-inspired chandelier completed the lighting scheme. Against one wall, Kayla and Matt hung a polaroid picture frame that guests could stand behind to snap fun photos for the couple’s guest book and the ceremony altar transitioned seamlessly to a stage for the DJ, who got the guests up and dancing after dinner. After dessert, which included a groom’s cake that bore the emblem of Matt’s alma mater, Auburn University, Kayla and Matt made a grand exit as their friends and family wished them well with a sparkler send off!
