Kaitlyn and Dan’s Intimate Hawaiian Wedding

by Amy Serrago

Kaitlyn and Dan share a love of comic books, an easy going, adventurous spirit and a terrific sense of humor. After getting engaged at Disneyland, this California couple started to plan a big wedding in their home state, but they quickly realized that they really just wanted to focus on what was important to them, love, laughter, friends and family. That’s when they chose to grab an intimate group of loved ones and head to Maui for an amazing Hawaiian destination wedding!

Kaitlyn made a beautifully beachy boho bride in her vintage-inspired lace, mermaid cut gown with its delicate spaghetti straps and sweep train. She finished her look with a crown of flowers and gold flip flops and her bridesmaids were perfect in peach. Each lady carried a bouquet of peach and white florals with greenery to accent and the groomsmen went for a casual, tropical look in gray pants and white linen shirts with leafy leis. Dan was handsome in his gray suit and crisp white shirt which he left open at the collar, skipping a tie for the beachy setting.

Kaitlyn and Dan included a traditional Hawaiian lei exchange in their ceremony to signify their love and respect for one another before they traded rings. After their vows were said and they sealed the deal with a kiss, Kaitlyn, Dan and their guests were serenaded by live Ukulele music as they sipped drinks and posed for portraits on the sand. What a gorgeous, intimate celebration of love. Congratulations Kaitlyn and Dan!
