Anniston and Stephen planned a light and airy spring wedding at The Oaks Plantation in Pike Road, Alabama where they could be both indoors and out. The day started with Anniston reading letters from her mother and bridesmaids, including one that had been saved since middle school, while they got ready for the main event. Stephen stayed “cool as a cucumber” until his first looks with his gorgeous bride, but at their outdoor ceremony, beneath an arbor of lush florals and draped white chiffon, everyone was moved to tears by the love this adorable couple shares.
Anniston was positively radiant in her strapless, trumpet-cut gown with its pleated bodice and layers of ruffled skirting. She finished her look with dangling, vintage-inspired earrings, a sleek chignon and sparkling pink sandals. Her bridesmaids were pretty in pale pink, their gowns completely backless for added drama, and all of the ladies carried bouquets of white and pale pink roses and peonies. Stephen and his groomsmen totally brought it in traditional black tuxes with single white rose boutonnières. The wedding party was the picture of glamour!
At the reception, the color scheme of pale pink and bright white was enhanced by tall floral centerpieces of white hydrangea with pops of pink spray roses and plenty of gold votives to give the room a romantic glow. The wedding cake was expertly designed in a white and pink rose motif and sat atop a table draped with a sparkling pink cloth, making it a focal point of the room’s decor. For dancing, the party moved back outside where a black and white checkerboard dance floor had been set up under hundreds of strung Edison lights. Anniston, Stephen and their guests got to enjoy the beautiful spring weather and dance the night away under the stars before they said goodnight with a fun sparkler send off. Congratulations Anniston and Stephen!
