Courtney and Robbie: A Horse of a Different Color

by Amy Serrago

Courtney and Robbie’s wedding decor was inspired by one particularly awesome pair of boots. Courtney is an amazing equestrian and she also loves the finer things in life, like jewelry from the iconic Tiffany. So, when she was choosing wedding footwear, her Tiffany blue cowboy boots seemed the natural choice. The rest of the theme grew from there, incorporating silver and white, while coordinating the fashion as well. Courtney made a grand entrance to her outdoor ceremony, while honoring her father who had passed away, by riding to the aisle on a white horse, wearing a Tiffany blue saddle blanket, before finishing the trip with her mother by her side.

Courtney was stunning in her traditional ballgown with its strapless sweetheart neckline and delicate lace detailing. In addition to her awesome boots, she topped off her look with a chunky pearl necklace and long veil for extra drama. Her bridesmaids wore convertible gowns in gray and sage green, with her maid-of-honor rocking the Tiffany blue. Each lady chose to wear her gown in a different configuration, but they all carried large bouquets of delicate baby’s breath. Courtney’s bouquet was a show stopping combination of white florals and lush greenery featuring eucalyptus and peonies. Robbie and his guys were handsome in three-piece gray suits and Tiffany ties, but not to be outdone in the footwear department, they paired their suits with Chuck Taylors for a fun and playful look.

At the reception, tables were set with sparkling silver runners over white linens and floral centerpieces of white hydrangea with twig accents. Tiffany blue napkins and chair sashes completed the decor and to enhance the equestrian theme, on each table were cowbells that guests could “ring for a kiss” between the bride and groom. After dinner, Courtney and Robbie cut their gorgeous Tiffany blue wedding cake before riding off into the sunset to live happily ever after.
