Kaylyn and Michael: Feeling the Fireworks

Kaylyn and Michael said “I do” at Villa Antonia in Austin Texas. Originally built as a private home, the stunning architecture and the owner’s love of weddings soon combined to make the villa one of the most sought after wedding venues in the Austin area. They held their ceremony, which included a wine unity ritual, on the Lakeview terrace surrounded by friends, family and their fur baby, Lucius. As they exchanged their vows, they were enveloped in a ring of exotic florals while the warm Texas sun filled the sky.

Kaylyn was picture perfect in her A-line gown with its intricate paisley lace design and deep V neckline. She finished her look with a sparkling pair of drop earrings and a long veil for added drama. She carried an absolute showstopper of a bouquet which featured orchids and eucalyptus, roses and fruit accents all surrounded by lush greenery and wildflowers. Michael was handsome in his navy blue suit which he paired with a burgundy tie that picked up on the floral color scheme and Lucius proudly wore a floral collar as he watched his owners tie the knot.

At the reception, tables were draped in cream colored linens and gold chargers gave the tablescapes extra glamour. Metallic accents, burgundy florals in small glass terrariums and pomegranate and moss accents completed the centerpieces and details like colored goblets added polish. A live caricaturist was on site to sketch guests as they enjoyed the evening’s festivities which included rocking out on the dance floor. Kaylyn and Michael snuck out to the terrace to capture some sunset couple’s portraits before cutting their suspended wedding cake. As the evening came to a close, the newlyweds were treated to a surprise fireworks show before their loved ones said goodnight with a fun sparkler send off. Congratulations Kaylyn and Michael!
