Megan and Steven’s Historic Fort Wedding

by Amy Serrago

Megan and Steven made the most of their Key West destination wedding! They said “I do” at the historic Fort Zachary Taylor, holding their ceremony atop the 1860’s fort as opposed to on the nearby beach. The setting not only provided them expansive views of the Gulf of Mexico, it also gave them the chance for some great photo ops. The newlyweds had a great time snapping portraits in and around the fort and its surrounding state park and the day after their wedding, they made sure to get some more pics at some of the most iconic Key West locations!

Megan was absolutely radiant in her lace A-line gown with its sheer back detailing and illusion straps. She finished her look with crystal teardrop earrings and a stunning bouquet of red and pink florals, featuring roses, orchids and wildflowers. Her groom, Steven, was dashing in a tan suit which he paired with a light blue shirt. The intimate wedding ceremony had an effortless, casual feel as Megan and Steven pledged their love to one another, surrounded by their closest friends and family. After Megan and Steven shared their first kiss as husband and wife they explored the park and beach before heading to a favorite local spot, Blue Heaven. There they enjoyed a delicious dinner and an evening of celebration with their guests. Congratulations Megan and Steven!
