Kendyl and Peyton’s wedding day started with first looks on the grounds of their idyllic venue, Horseshoe Lake. It was a perfect December day in Tennessee and the venue was decked out in festive holiday decor. Their ceremony took place beside a rustic wooden altar decorated with evergreen rope, red and white roses and twinkling white lights. Kendyl’s dad walked her down a grand staircase draped in white lights and evergreen and down the aisle to where Peyton waited to exchange vows and seal their ceremony with a kiss. White birch branches and two lighted, white tipped pine trees completed the decor and the wedding party was elegantly outfitted for a Christmas wedding. The bridesmaids in red gowns and the groomsmen in navy blue suits with festive red ties!
Kendyl was absolutely radiant in her lace sheath gown with its sheer lace straps and chapel train. She finished her look with a white fur wrap and a long veil. Her groom was dapper in his blue suit and tie and a red rose and blue thistle boutonnière added a pop of holiday color to his lapel. Kendyl’s bridal bouquet was a stunning mix of red roses, holly berries and blue thistle with fern leaf and baby’s breath accents. Her bridesmaids’ bouquets featured the same florals, but in white. At the reception, tables were set with white linens and holiday themed centerpieces that boasted evergreen, red florals and birch branches. Silver hurricane candles and gold flatware completed the table decor and details like wreaths and twinkle lights gave the room a warm, Christmasy glow. Kendyl and Peyton treated their guests to delights like a hot chocolate bar and dessert buffet and at the end of the night, the newlyweds exited through cascading snow that their friends and family tossed into the air. Then they were off to start the honeymoon. Congratulations Kendyl and Peyton!
