Sammy and William: Traditional Meets Luxury

by Amy Serrago

Sammy and William met during their freshman year of college and were still going strong by senior year when William decided to pop the question on the couple’s annual trip to visit their favorite apple orchard. Of course, Sammy said yes! And wedding planning was underway. The big day started with a traditional church ceremony at Shepherd of the Lake Lutheran church in Prior Lake, MN – just minutes outside of Minneapolis/St. Paul. Sammy was stunning in her classic ballgown with its intricately beaded bodice and multitiered skirting and William was handsome in a gray suit which he paired with a white vest and tie. The wedding party was chic in lavender and gray and Sammy’s maid-of-honor was elegant in pale blush.

For the reception, the party moved to The Great Hall in St. Paul where Sammy and William had the honor of being the last couple to hold their reception in the absolutely stunning space. The fashion color story carried into the floral design which popped against the modern black and white theme of the tablescapes. The newlyweds glided across the hall’s marble floor as they got the party started with their first dance and at the end of the night their friends and family saw them off with sparklers in hand. Congratulations Sammy and William!
