Morgan and Zach met when they were toddlers. Their parents were members of the same church congregation. But, Zach’s family moved away before he stared kindergarten, so he and Morgan didn’t see each other for 25 years. Then a mutual friend set them up on a blind date. They recognized each other’s names immediately and when they saw each other again, they knew they had something special.
As they talked, they realized how close their paths had come to crossing over the years, they even went to the same college! A year later, Zach proposed. Morgan told her family that he was the man she had prayed for. Zach says Morgan is “country and city, she’s quiet and loud, she likes going out and loves staying in, she’s just everything.”
Morgan is a personal stylist who loves color. She decided on a “gypsy chic” theme, and worked with her wedding designer to combine boho elements, rustic charm and lush florals. The results were stunning. She was gorgeous in her off-the shoulder gown and her bridesmaids rocked their forest green sequined gowns. Meanwhile, Zach and his groomsmen were dapper in dark suits and striped ties.
The reception decor featured macrame backdrops, colorful rugs and a jewel toned color palette. And the floral design was beautifully boho! Candlesticks and Edison lights gave the space a warm glow and the farmhouse tables highlighted Morgan and Zach’s focus on family. After dinner, the newlyweds served a variety of desserts in addition to their four-tiered wedding cake. Congratulations Morgan and Zach!
