Libby and Simon traveled from their Texas home to say “I do” at Chateau Tanunda in Southern Australia. Because they both had family members from around the world who came to celebrate, the chateau, built in the 1880s, was the perfect spot. First, they exchanged vows during a heartfelt ceremony in the chateau’s chapel. After that, Libby and Simon took off in their vintage MG getaway car to capture portraits on the grounds. The ancient trees, setting sun and, of course, the wine cellar made for stunning images.
Libby was absolutely radiant! Her fitted lace gown with its long sheer sleeves was gorgeous and Simon was handsome in his navy blue suit. Meanwhile, the bridesmaids wore non-matching dresses in shades of blush and burgundy. The ladies carried bouquets of blush, white and purple florals while the groomsmen wore suits to match Simon’s.
Twinkle lights and vintage chandeliers gave the reception space a romantic glow. And in addition to floral centerpieces, the wedding cake was decorated with beautiful blush roses and blue thistle. After dinner, the newlyweds shared their first dance. And as the sun set over the historic chateau, everyone enjoyed some of their delicious wine! Congratulations Libby and Simon!
