Kim and Adan’s Family Focused Barn Wedding

by Amy Serrago

Kim and Adan’s wedding put the focus on friends and family. In fact, the happy couple stayed true to their Latino roots from the food to the music! First, they exchanged vows in a heartfelt outdoor ceremony that included a tree watering unity ritual. During the ceremony, they watered a small tree to symbolize their commitment to nurturing their relationship as they grow as a couple. Then, after their first married kiss, the newlyweds had fun posing for portraits with their wedding party and entire family!

Kim was gorgeous in her traditional gown with its long lacy sleeves and her bridesmaids wore joyful yellow and white gowns. Each lady carried a bouquet of classic white florals and greenery. Meanwhile, Adan and his groomsmen were handsome in navy blue. Their bow ties matched the ladies’ gowns perfectly!

The reception decor featured the classic combination of ivory, gold and greenery, allowing the natural beauty of the venue to shine through. Gold chargers sat on ivory tablecloths and the centerpieces were brimming with eucalyptus, baby’s breath and roses. Instead of a guest book, friends and family signed Jenga pieces and the favors were tiny succulent plants. After dinner, Kim’s mom changed into traditional Mexican dress to perform a special song for her daughter and son-in-law. It was certainly a magical moment for everyone! Congratulations Kim and Adan!
