Tania and Sean: Timeless Elegance in Chicago

by Amy Serrago

Tania and Sean met through mutual friends at the University of Iowa. Tania was studying dentistry while Sean was in med school. They had instant chemistry. Their friend made sure to keep inviting them to the same events, sparking their interest in each other. But, Sean really swept Tania off her feet when he planned their first date, a romantic dinner followed by an evening of salsa dancing!

The couple returned to their hometown, Chicago for their wedding. Sean is outdoorsy and Tania loves romance, so the Bridgeport Art Center was the perfect venue choice. Its rustic woodwork gave Sean a taste of the country and the elegance of the space was so Tania! It truly took their breath away.

Tania walked down an aisle lined with large arrangements of hydrangea and delicate pink roses. She was stunning, her trumpet cut gown fit her perfectly. And its unique lace pattern was an absolute show stopper. Her bridesmaids wore elegant fitted gowns in blush pink and each lady carried a classic rose bouquet in blush and white. Meanwhile, Sean and his groomsmen were handsome in navy blue suits with white ties.

The entire space was draped with flowing white sheers and vintage-inspired crystal chandeliers hung high above the ceremony and reception. At the same time, tables were set with crisp white linens and centerpieces of white hydrangea. The head table featured a blush brocade cloth, glass chargers and gold flatware. After dinner, Tania’s bridesmaids made a special speech and then the TVK Orchestra got the party going on the dance floor. They even sent some live drummers out to dance with the crowd. So fun! Congratulations Tania and Sean!
