Katie and Rob: Intimate and Fashionable

by Amy Serrago

Early in their relationship, Katie and Rob were known as “Pizza Girl” and “Pizza Boy” to each other’s friends. You see, they met at a pizzeria. He’d been out with friends that night. She’d been on a terrible date. They both needed a slice to cap off the night. And though they still debate who spoke first, they struck up a conversation. They finished their pizza and went for one last drink. And the rest is history!

Both Rob and Katie had been married before and had huge weddings the first time around. So, they wanted to keep things simple this time. They debated eloping to the islands. But instead, they planned an intimate affair at The Astor House in NYC, so that their families could be there. Katie says, the townhouse setting felt like hosting a beautiful dinner party. One that kicked off with a wedding ceremony! The decor featured Chinoiserie from Katie’s own collection. It fit right into the historic setting. Meanwhile, lush green and white florals created a garden-like feel. Congratulations Katie and Rob!
