Kimberly and Seth’s Fiesta Themed Wedding

by Amy Serrago

Seth and Kimberly met in college. He was her RA and they quickly became friends. Kimberly says, above all, Seth was her best friend. Moreover, he was the person she “couldn’t wait to talk to at night.” Soon, that friendship turned to love.

Years later, Seth was ready to pop the question and he decided to do it at Fiesta San Antonio. A celebration of the city’s diverse culture. He actually got the cops to clear a street for his proposal, which included the whole family. So, naturally, when it came time to plan the wedding – they went with a Fiesta theme. They were even lucky enough to find a venue available on Cinco de Mayo!

The wedding’s decor was mainly DIY and Kimberly says she has Pinterest, as well as a family that excels at crafts to thank for it. Because they enlisted their families’ help they had great fun hosting decorating parties. And as a result, their family bond grew stronger.

However, when it came to florals they went to The Lemon Blossom for the vibrant flower crowns the bridesmaids wore and Kimberly’s stunning bouquet. And they personalized the day with Fiesta-themed touches like beer burros and mariachi!

Kimberly says her gown was the complete opposite of what she’d thought she wanted. But she fell in love with its blush pink color and glittering tulle skirting. At the reception, guests danced the night away surrounded by vibrant decor and celebratory vibes. Congratulations, Kimberly and Seth!
