Tori and Adam: Art Deco Hollywood Glam

by Amy Serrago

Tori and Adam met at a mutual friend’s Halloween party. She wore a French maid’s costume while he dressed as “The Most Interesting Man in the World” from the Dos Equis commercials. Lucky for Adam, Tori did find him interesting. She says he kept her laughing all night! But, even though they really hit it off, they ended the night without exchanging numbers. However, the next weekend, they ran into each other again. This time, Adam told Tori he wasn’t going to let her “get away again”. So, they exchanged numbers. And the rest is history!

Tori says she’s been inspired by old 1920’s Hollywood glamour since she was a little girl. So, the wedding’s theme was “Art Deco Gatsby Glam”. A black and gold color scheme and pearl and feather accents set the scene. And after the ceremony, the bride and groom rode to their reception in a 1920’s Ford Model T!

Tori’s vintage-inspired gown was stunning with its sparkling deco details. And her classic “birdcage” veil was the perfect accessory. Her bridesmaids wore non-matching gowns that evoked the old Hollywood glamour she adores. Meanwhile, Adam and his groomsmen looked dapper in classic black tuxes.

The reception decor featured stunning jewel-toned florals and gilded place settings. And the cake was decked out in deco details! Tori and Adam hail from rival cities, Chicago and Detroit. So, they decided to make it a bit of a competition. Instead of a guest book they had guests sign jerseys from their cities’ rival hockey teams. And Chicago Dogs took on Coney Dogs in the late night snack battle. Congratulations Tori and Adam!
