Have you dreamed of a winter wedding with family and friends gathers around cozy fires warding off the winter chill? “For winter, we’re waiving the room rental fee,” said Kimberly McNamara, Events Director for The Piedmont Club. “Our couples will only be paying for their food and beverages, which is an exceptional value.”
The room rental fee typically covers tables, chairs, linens in your color choice, glassware, table décor, use of the sound system and A/V equipment, and much more. There is even a beautiful bridal suite, and use is included for the entire day. The ballroom will be available to couples for five hours of reception time, and more may be available upon request.
The winter promotion also includes set up and break down of the event, day-of wedding coordination by the club’s private events coordinator and banquet manager, and complimentary cake cutting service. Couples can also access the golf course for wedding photos.
“The ballroom features a gorgeous wooden dance floor, a beautiful view of the 18th fairway, wrought iron chandeliers and private club intimacy, since we only host one event at a time,” said McNamara. “Having only one event at a time provides couples the ultimate flexibility in planning their wedding schedule.”
Food and beverages are done in-house by an experienced chef and culinary team. Couples can choose from a variety of displayed and butler-served hors d’oeuvres, and opt for either a buffet or plated meal service. To help couples decide, there are samplings available.
“Our team provides couples with complimentary menu tastings for the couple and two guests prior to the special day,” said McNamara.
The Piedmont Club is conveniently located off I-66 in Haymarket. The club is within minutes of local hotel accommodations and wineries and breweries, perfect for pre-wedding festivities. And Washington, D.C. is only about 45 minutes away for couples planning a full weekend wedding or for guests who wish to extend their stay.
