Before Aubrey and Sterling’s mountainy rustic wedding, they met through mutual friends. The group was actually trying to set Aubrey up with someone else. However, once she saw Sterling, she never looked twice at the other guy!
This adorable couple shares an amazing sense of humor and they proved it during their first looks. Aubrey had gone shopping with Sterling’s best man and together they found a bridal gown that fit him perfectly. So, they decided to play a little prank on Sterling. First, he felt a tap on his shoulder and expected to turn around and see his bride. Instead, there was his best man – in a dress! Everyone cracked up and it made for some hilarious photos.
Aubrey and Sterling said “I do” at the top of the world. They chose their venue, Skyview Pavilion at Parkside Resort for its unique, open air layout and stunning views. They exchanged vows surrounded by friends, family and rustic charm. After that, they posed for portraits with the perfect mountainy backdrop. Aubrey was beautiful in her off-the-shoulder gown and Sterling was handsome in black and white.
The reception decor featured a lavender and black color scheme and white table linens added brightness. Meanwhile, vintage chandeliers added a touch of luxury to the natural rustic beauty of the pavilion. To keep things casual and add some of the newlyweds’ signature humor to the day, Sterling and his groomsmen changed into tuxedo t-shirts. And instead of Aubrey tossing the bouquet to the single ladies, Sterling threw it to the guys! Congratulations Aubrey and Sterling.
