Engagement Stories: Lauren and Steve

Lauren says her relationship with Steve started “like any other fairytale” – on Tinder! Because she was new to Colorado (as was Steve), she decided to re-download Tinder for “the fifth or sixth time”. Although, she almost skipped out on her first date with Steve after having gone on a lot of “disappointing” dates. Now she says she couldn’t be more grateful that she showed up that first day!

Steve proposed on a Thursday night. Lauren knew he had the ring and she suspected something was up. But when Steve told her to leash up their dog, George, and come for a ride with him, she didn’t even have time to fix her hair or swipe on some makeup. Steve drove Lauren and George to a gorgeous spot overlooking the mountains in Castle Pines. He told her he never wanted to “enjoy a view like that” without her again. The moment was perfect and of course, she said yes!
