Rustic Intimate DIY Desert Wedding

Madison and Patrick were one of the many couples whose wedding plans were thwarted due to COVID last year.

These two first met in high school cross country running team. After high school, they both went their separate ways to college, but fate had a different plan for them. Their friends (and coach) knew they were meant to be, and the world worked to make that so. As they finish their degrees, they have spent the last several years traveling, running, and being awesome as firefighters! They have a beautiful cattle dog named Kyote who adventures with them full time.

When their original wedding was cancelled, they chose a wonderful country resort in the desert to celebrate Thanksgiving with their nearest and dearest, with a wedding! Everything was perfectly them. From the officiant being their high school cross country coach, to the flowers and baked goods designed and cooked by their moms, to the vintage veil Maddie wore from her late grandma, to Kyote’s flower bandana matching Patrick’s tie, it was a perfect winter wedding in the desert!
