The original plan was to work with a photographer to do a Black Friday shoot inspired by Devin’s favorite movie, American Gangster. At 4 am we received a text from our photographer that he was dealing with a serious family emergency. We didn’t want him worrying about us, so Ebonie started looking into the top-rated local photographers since we were on the Outer Banks for Thanksgiving. We got in touch with Matt Lusk Photography and he was incredible, fitting us in the following day for an engagement shoot. He was familiar with the local spots and the beautiful natural lighting in OBX and helped us bring so much more to life than we had originally planned.
