Jenna and Chris are the sweetest!! So in love and incredibly kind. The Stone Mill Inn is a beautiful venue–one of my favorites. Here is there story….

“Walking into the Woodlands at the Stone Mill Inn is like a fairytale.” ~Jenna

As she walked along the path leading to her future groom, she was amazed at the beauty all around her. Beautiful flowers, pristine trees…all of nature seemed to be waiting for the grand event to take place! In Jenna’s mind, it was like a wonderful dream. The day had finally arrived for her to pledge her love to Chris forever and she couldn’t have imagined it being any more perfect.

Jenna and Chris’s Stone Mill Inn wedding was truly amazing. I love being at this venue…the staff is fantastic and there are so many beautiful places to capture the memories of the wedding day.

Jenna and her girls arrived at the Inn in the morning and were treated to breakfast by her soon-to-be husband. Chris proved to be an unseen rock to Jenna all day. He had many of the small details taken care of so Jenna could relax and enjoy the best day of her life. Jenna’s amazing bridal party was a joy to her all day long. Besides her 1 1/2 year old niece keeping the girls entertained, Jenna’s favorite people got to be with her. Her mom, future mother-in-law, and even her grandparents were there most of the day while the girls got ready and had some pictures taken. It was so special to have those Jenna loved most close by on this most special occasion…the day she calls the best the day of her life.

Jenna’s first look with her father was beautiful and full of emotion. You could tell by the look on his face, that he truly adores his daughter. They shared some private sentiments and I got some great photos. And still there was one more thing to do before the wedding began.

Jenna and Chris had decided to do a first touch instead of a first look. She said it was a magical moment. “I was with him, it was our wedding day, and our first touch made me feel relieved because I felt I needed him to calm me down. I knew during that moment that all would be good. Chris prayed for our marriage, our day and for our time together. God is so important in our lives so this was a very special moment. We then talked about how excited we were for the day, and that we couldn’t wait to officially see each other ‘in the woods’”

That time finally came, and as Jenna walked down the aisle to “A Thousand Years”, her heart skipped a beat when she saw her groom. She knew that everything was perfect. Jenna was so excited to be with Chris and just hold his hands. With him in front of her and family from all over the country there to support them, she felt so much love and happiness. The ceremony was charming and personal and included, heartfelt promises, communion, and favorite musical selections. It was a Christian ceremony and one of the most Christ-centered I’ve been honored to photograph. The guests blew bubbles as the happy couple exited to the song “Blue Skies” in honor of Chris’s grandmother who had requested that song, but passed before the wedding day.

After the ceremony, we were able to get some amazing photos. Some of our favorites were with the LOVE marquee. Jenna and Chris have an incredible love story and the sign seemed to be a representation of that. The first dance, and the parent dances were so special. You could see the love in these relationships as beautiful music with personal meaning played.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, Jenna and Chris made their sparkler exit to a Disney song, “I See the Light”. They continued their fairytale in Jamaica on a fabulous honeymoon.

Jenna says, “In looking back I was so glad that we were able to put Jesus first and highlight our love story with evidence of it in the ceremony, prayers, and the programs we had for the wedding ceremony and reception. We were so blessed to have our closest friends and family members there to support us. We both are so glad to have amazing groomsmen and bridesmaids that represent us as individuals, serve as examples for who we want to be, and support us each and every day.”
