An interview with the happy couple!
How did you meet?
“We have actually gone to the same schools since elementary, but never got a chance to really get to know each other until much more recently! Fast forward to our early twenties, we found one another on a dating app, funny enough, and really hit it off! After just a few dates we made it official, and after two years of adventures we were engaged!”
Why did you choose to elope?
“We both knew from the start that we wanted to do something small and intimate. We had both been part of close family member’s and friend’s weddings, and saw how stressful it could be to plan a large wedding. Eloping was the perfect solution for us, and we were able to enjoy every minute of the day without worrying about all the little details!”
How did you choose your elopement location?
“New York City was our ideal elopement destination because of the meaning it held to us both. We each grew up about 30 minutes outside of the city, and had spent a lot of time exploring everything it has to offer. One of our first few dates was actually at the Museum of Natural History followed by drinks and lounging in Central Park. When discussing potential locations to elope – we both almost instantly suggested NYC!”
