Piedmont Club – A Picture-Perfect Place

Piedmont Club

Piedmont Ballroom

If you are looking for a beautiful golf club to host your wedding in Northern Virginia, look no further than Piedmont Club, located in Haymarket. With an 18-hole championship golf course designed by renowned architect Tom Fazio, Piedmont has a perfect atmosphere for golf fans to celebrate their special day. But if you aren’t one, don’t let the golf setting distract you from the impressive landscape and ballroom.

Natalie, a bride who recently held her wedding at Piedmont Club, said: “The venue is gorgeous and bright with a ton of natural lighting from the windows. The food was delicious! My one piece of advice when booking them is if you want a special element that isn’t a part of the standard packages, just ask! Also, even if you are not an avid golfer the Piedmont Club should still be on the top of your list of venues to check out. Even my non-golfer husband fell in love with the venue.”

Because of its location in what is known as Virginia’s Hunt Country and the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Piedmont offers beautiful rolling hills as a breathtaking backdrop to your wedding day.

The large but elegant 22,000-square foot clubhouse provides the perfect setting for a formal or informal wedding as staff members can help customize the details to create the atmosphere you wish to portray on your wedding day.

“The ballroom boasts floor-to-ceiling windows with a breathtaking view of the 18th fairway,” said Private Events Director Kimberly Esteban. “Our property also allows for picturesque photo opportunities with wildlife backdrops, both wooden and stone bridges and water features.”

One bride, Johanna, said that “Piedmont was the absolute perfect place to have our wedding. Not only is the scenery gorgeous, but the club itself is stunning!”

Superb Staff

Everything is completely customized based on your preferences, budget and style at Piedmont, and you get a dedicated events director to help you plan out every little (and big!) detail. Even if you are very picky when it comes to planning, the staff are ready for your questions and special requests. One bride, Melissa, said: “The food is amazing and the staff is very flexible in arranging everything to meet your needs. I’m extremely detail-oriented and had so many instructions for the staff to follow in setting up the venue, and they did a wonderful job and were completely up to the job!”

Kimberly Esteban feels at home at Piedmont Club since she was raised in Haymarket and graduated from the Tourism and Event Management program at George Mason University. After serving in various positions at other local private clubs, including a tourism and events agency in Italy, Esteban said she is “so excited to be back to what I always considered my “home” club here at Piedmont.”

With about 50 to 65 staff working at Piedmont depending on the season and hosting anywhere from 70 to 80 weddings each year, Esteban said: “From our Executive Chef and culinary team, to your day-of coordinator, Food and Beverage Director and Banquet Manager, we are all zeroed in on you. Our team is dedicated to making warm welcomes, magic moments and fond farewells for all of our clients and members. We work cohesively as a group, strive to surpass expectations daily and have a lot fun while doing it.” Sounds like the type of people I’d want managing my wedding!

Customized Weddings

While every wedding is different and Piedmont Club prides itself on catering to your special requests, one of the most popular requests from wedding clients are to have “fun food and beverage stations,” said Esteban. “Whether it’s late night snacks or s’mores stations, we are always happy to customize menus for our couples. If there was one thing that I’d want someone to know when booking their event here, it’s that we are committed to bringing your vision to life for your event and that with Piedmont Club, no detail will go untouched.”

Byron Palmer, Piedmont Club’s Assistant Food and Beverage Director, said, “I enjoy working weddings as it gives a small window into other people’s culture. It is fun and exciting to experience so many different kinds of people coming together for one special moment.”
