Fun fact! The venue is a ranch property in Paso Robles, CA, owned by the bride’s grandmother. Ever since she was a little girl, C.C. has dreamed of being married there! When the couple walked around the property to choose a ceremony location, they were torn, what with all the beautiful views from each site, but ultimately decided to be married under the oak tree. The entire property has always held a special place in C.C.’s heart, but her favorite spot is the charming yellow house near the main gate. She lived in that house for about a year after graduating from college, and it has always felt like a second home… Except when it was her primary home! The house has always been yellow, and it has been standing for over 100 years. It was remodeled in 2008 to become a vacation rental & family getaway, and she knew it had to be shared with everyone on her special day! As for the sweet ride used as an entrance vehicle for the ladies, that Jeep has been around since C.C. was a child! In her own words, “I learned how to drive in that thing, and I couldn’t think of a more epic entrance for myself and the bridesmaids!” Located just past the yellow house, the closest barn that can be seen from the ceremony site was built by C.C.’s grandfather and uncle. The old dairy barn further in the background is actually over 100 years old as well, just like the yellow house! Since the property has so much history behind it, it would have been impossible to have such a huge day and not host it there, and it was definitely one of the top weddings of the season! When asked how she feels about her big day now that it has passed, C.C. wanted to give a huge shout out to all of the newlywed’s family and friends for their help and support with turning the ranch into their dream wedding venue. Not surprisingly, she still can’t believe how perfect it turned out! But we can all agree, it was simply magical.
