This was a promotional styled shoot for Kingston’s Steakhouse in Marion, Iowa. They are a new venue and were looking to feature their space and what they could offer clients in the area. Top vendors from Cedar Rapids and Iowa City collaborated to create a mesmerizing experience for this bride and groom. The couple for the shoot had their own wedding just last year, and after the shoot, they said reliving their own wedding day through this experience will forever be remembered and cherished.
The vision for this shoot was a luxurious winter wedding with a variety of blue and cream tones, and accents of gold. To make things more romantic, the stunning look of velvet and the romantic look of taper candles were incorporated. Fresh floral everywhere was a must, and a hint of fresh citrus fruits was used for a radiant pop of color. The vision was for the bride to be dripping in diamonds so she would feel like an absolute queen. There was $40k worth of jewelry on the couple courtesy of Siebke Hoyt Jewelers.
The cake by Sugar Flower Cake Design was an elegant masterpiece. It was beautifully simple with flourishes of EDIBLE flowers. The cake was framed by a dramatic arch of styled balloons and floral for a visual focal point in the ballroom.
Creating an elevated experience for the first dance was a priority, and Clife DJ Company pulled out all the stops with their unique capabilities. The vision was to create a dream-like experience for the couple where were dancing on a cloud and fireworks were going off in the background. It was a magical finale that resulted in some one-of-a-kind photos that captured the essence of the dream-like scene.
