Winter Wonderland Rocky Mountain National Park Adventure Elopement
Amber and Benny had thought about eloping on 2/22/22 but weren’t sure how to make it happen. After a bit of research, they found us online and reached out. After talking on the phone for a bit, I knew immediately that this couple was genuine about eloping for the right reasons. Their vision for their day was 3 s’s: snow, short, and sweet. We met at their Airbnb while they were getting ready. Amber was getting their makeup and hair done professionally, and Benny was taking care of their baby (which unfortunately didn’t make it into any of the portraits due to the temperatures being way too cold). Once they were ready we headed out to Bear Lakes for their ceremony. They had their short and sweet ceremony right on the frozen Bear Lake with freshly fallen snow. After their ceremony, we headed over to Lily Lake to do some more quick portraits. They signed their marriage license on the hood of their rented 4×4 Jeep and popped some champagne to celebrate. It was such a magical day, and I’m so happy that mother nature delivered the snow they were hoping for!
