Elopement at The Cake Bake Shop

Shelby and Alan’s elopement at The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers was extra sweet! This small ceremony took place in an ultra whimsical destination bakery with the windows open and sun light pouring in. It was a magical day!

Shelby and Alan selected The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers because it is so beautiful they wouldn’t need to add any decor. Which was perfect for their low key elopement. Shelby and Alan decided to skip a traditional wedding and instead spoil their closest friends and family members with a delicious meal, champagne toasts and genuine conversation. Guests enjoyed picture perfect appetizers, delicious dinners and to end the beautiful celebration: a slice of sparkling cake from The Cake Bake Shop itself, soon to be located on Disney properties in Orlando, Florida.

Shelby and Alan kept their celebration small in guest size, but the love felt there that day was big! Family came in from out of state and friends stood in to officiate and play acoustic guitar. Shelby’s bouquet included a broach that belonged to her late mother and looked amazing in a dress she purchased online – complete with a birdcage veil. Alan looked dapper in a white tuxedo jacket and ornate pocket square.

Shelby and Alan’s elopement was perfect. Thought it was small it was so full of love and joy!
