Summer Bay Wedding in Maryland

How did you meet? I’d love to hear the details!

We met at work. I was an Operations Manager, he was an Area Manager. We didn’t hit it off at first, lol. I would crash his store manager meetings or add to his meetings because we shared the same team and he hated it lol and I didn’t care; I kept doing it to piss him off, haha. Eventually, we grew on each other, by force, because we had to and realized that we were cool. We needed to work with each other in order to succeed, which I repeatedly advised him so he finally listened. Then we actually became friends. I ended up kissing him first; he was very charming and the rest is history. He chased me lol.

What was your first date? I’d love to hear the details!

He asked me out to the TGIFridays in White Marsh. We sat at the bar, ate and talked for hours. Mostly laughed and got to know each other, with no pressure. An unbreakable bond and friendship started there.

Do you have a favorite date you’ve ever been on together?

Yes, our last anniversary we celebrated 5 years at the lovely Carlyle Club

When did you start dating?

October 2014

What would the perfect date night look like or include?

Delicious dinner, a night of dancing and romance on an exotic beach

How did he propose? Tell me the whole story!!

Well, I proposed 1st at Christmas dinner on our family vacation to the Bahamas. He said yes and I gave him an engagement ring, but Little did I know that he’d planned on proposing the next day at dinner. He called for the waiter and asked for a mic. He made a speech in front of everyone. I just thought he was professing his love for me but when he got down on one knee and had a beautiful engagement ring in a box in his hand, I couldn’t believe it and was overjoyed and filled with emotion.

Did either of you cry?

Yes, I did. Ira did not lol

The Maldives. We were scheduled to go for our honeymoon until they placed stricter guidelines around quarantine, due to covid
