Meredith and Harper, another one of our COVID couples, waited a long time to make this special day happen! They got ready at the Kipton Hotel in uptown Charlotte before their emotional first look across the street at Romare Bearden Park. Harper couldn’t keep it together but can you blame him with how long he waited for this day and how stunning Meredith looked? We then met up at Hotel Concord where their ceremony and reception was to take place. We used the beautiful ceremony space there for some individual, bridal party, and couples portraits. We absolutely love the afternoon light that spills through their large windows at Hotel Concord. It makes for amazing photos! The ceremony began and it was another emotional time for Harper. He was blown away when he saw Meredith turning the corner to walk down that aisle. The vows they made to each other were so touching and had many a teary eye watching on. We spent a little time after the ceremony walking around downtown concord and really capturing the essence of their relationship. As you can see in the photos, the reception was very high energy and an absolute blast to be a part of! But with Split Second Sound and Vinny as the DJ of the wedding, I wasn’t surprised. At one point Vinny had everyone grouped close together on the dance floor and singing to the top of their lungs. It made for great photos and for a great moment that I’m sure the couple and guests will never forget. The whole day came together perfectly and I hope that Meredith and Harper look back and relive this day through their photos for years to come!
