As one-half of the styled shoot planning team, Ever After Editorials, I helped create and design the concept for this beautifully romantic spring garden bridal inspiration shoot. With pastels as our focus colors, we embraced the spring florals that were already in bloom at the gorgeous Plaza de la Fontana, located at Mission Inn Resort. The Spanish architecture brought an exotic backdrop, giving the feeling of a destination wedding without having to leave the country.
Our day-of-coordinator was Chelsea of Seas Your Day Events, and she was a tremendous help! Not only did she lend her design eye to helping us decorate, but she kept everyone on track throughout the day, checking on all the models and vendors there and providing snacks and waters when needed.
All of our models were wearing gowns from The Dressing Room at Celebration, and jewelry from Estylo Jewelry. The hair accessories were made by hand for this inspiration shoot, by Blushing Gold Brides. The hair pins were gold and rose gold, featuring white porcelain florals and accents of baby pinks and blues. The makeup and hair styles were done by Amber Lynn Artistry, and the various looks were all cohesive with the romantic garden theme.
The florals were gorgeous arrangements by La Perle Designs. Each bouquet included stems of varying spring colors that accented everything perfectly. The arch was the real winner. The natural ivy of the archway at Plaza de la Fontana was accented with more florals and set up as a beautiful ceremony spot. We even did a mock bubble send off!
Our reception decor was one of our highlights of the bridal inspiration, with garden florals and tea cups filled with rose tea & edible rose petals. The centerpiece was a unique potted Cora Pink Vinca plant in a gorgeous bust that tied it all together. Chain of Events Rentals provided the decor, and Daisy Delights Events created yummy and stunningly beautiful desserts that decorated the table. Adorning this decor was a beautiful scroll runner with custom calligraphy and hand-torn menus by Glory Co. Designs.
The cake was designed by Willow Wisp Cakes, with edible sugar flowers and greenery! Stephanie did an amazing job creating an intimate cake that looked like it fit right into a garden party.
No bridal inspiration is complete without paper goods! The stationery provided by Glory Co. Design was absolutely stunning. Maria chose a vintage painting that matched our theme, and created a beautiful design based off of it. The hand-torn edges, wax seal, and hand-written calligraphy gave a stunning old world feel to it all.
We also had a lovable pup from the local humane society brought out by Furry Ventures Pet Care to take portraits, adorned with a beautiful flower crown. The photos from the bridal shoot were used to help get the puppy adopted.
