Morgan and Slater are a perfect match. I know you may hear that a lot – but in this case, it’s true. They met at a church function, but not in just any old way. See, Morgan is a Historian and quite the movie buff, and Slater’s closing line when they first met was a vague line from Blues Brother’s which immediately made Morgan consider on-the-spot elopement, but she refrained. Instead, they started dating and let their love grow slowly.
Like most brides right now their engagement was just prior to COVID and that did create a delay in their wedding planning, but it gave them more time to put their special touches on the day. Morgan also LOVES Disney and Slater loves Morgan, so he let her put all the Disney magic into this wedding. All of their guests received a Disney-like enamel pin along with a small jar of honey. They also had Disney tunes playing throughout the evening and even an instrumental “Wouldn’t Have Nothing If I Didn’t Have You” as their recessional after their ceremony. They also included their relationship with Christ throughout their wedding, like praying together (without seeing each other) prior to the ceremony, a worship section in their ceremony and a few prayers from friends and their pastor at the reception. To close the evening out, they even had a sparkler exit.
Morgan and Slater closed on their new home just a few days prior to their wedding and after their honeymoon throughout historic and music-filled Tennessee, they’ll be busy moving in and putting their finishing touches on their new home and life together!
