Let’s now look at some tasks that should be taken care of four to six months before your wedding. At this point, you should go ahead and schedule/plan your rehearsal with your officiant. Be sure to let your attendants and close family members know if you will need them to attend the rehearsal so they may make their travel plans early!
Also reserve the site for your rehearsal dinner and decide upon the menu. If you plan to host a morning-after brunch, that should be planned now as well.
Book your hotel room for the night of the wedding.
Arrange day-of-the-wedding transportation for you and your groom, your attendants, and others who will need it.
Prepare directions to the ceremony and reception for guests.
If you plan to travel abroad for the wedding or honeymoon, secure passports and visas, and schedule shots, if needed.
Book a calligrapher to address envelopes if you would rather not do it yourself.
