Although Ethan and Allie attended Longwood University throughout their college years, they didn’t officially meet until after they had both graduated through mutual friends. After dating for a few years, Ethan knew it was time to pop the question. He planned a dreamy, intimate beachside proposal for Allie with some of their closest friends and family present.
Champagne, glitter, and all the glam possible was the theme for this perfect New Year’s Eve celebration. Ethan and Allie took advantage of all the holiday fun in unique ways. To save on florals, they went with champagne for the bridesmaids to carry, toasting the groom as they walked down the aisle. For their seating chart, they had a champagne wall and chic black and gold decor and chandeliers for added drama. Allie handmade all the table numbers, which featured special places and stories significant to their relationship. They also projected the New York City ball drop on the big screen for everybody to watch and countdown to the New Year.
