Emma and Andrew’s Lively Kansas City Wedding

Captured & submitted by Cassidy Drury Photography

This wedding at The Guild Kansas City is sentimental, electric, and lively, with a unique city outdoor ceremony. This well-styled wedding is sure to inspire with colorful details that are bohemian, trendy, and just a touch emotional. Industry talent from Kansas City came together to make magic.

The bride is wearing a floral lace wedding gown by designer Madi Lane from Something White Bridal. Offbeat, stylish blooms by The Cottage Rose and Colby Chisam set the stage for a colorful night. While the groom’s traditional Scottish kilt provided a personal and thoughtful feel.

This first look was one that brought tears to everyone’s eyes. With Andrew’s father playing bagpipes in a tucked away corner, there wasn’t a dry eye in sight. The couple had their family step in as their bridal party with Emma’s Sister as her Maid of Honor and Andrew’s brother-in-law for his best man. Emma’s grandmother was escorted down the aisle as their flower girl, and needless to say, she did a stand up job. Their day was family focused while still including their closest friends.

After the ceremony, DJ Alex Reed kept the party alive and on the dance floor for a reception like none other. Heart-shaped sunglasses and fuzzy cowboy hats were quickly spread from the photobooth to the dance floor as the night started. These two ended their night with a private last dance and a sparkler exit with their favorite people.

This feature coordinated by Cat Cain from Cain Creatives is the perfect fit for a couple seeking fun, life-of-the-party inspiration for their wedding day. The Kuchmeister’s proved that now-a-day weddings can still be family focused while having the time of your life. Guests truly left say, “Best day ever.”
