A word from the bride…
“Originally I had wanted to get married in Europe, so the inspiration was the French countryside. In addition, I had always wanted a sapphire engagement ring so we custom-designed it. It has an antique inspiration, with modern styling. These two ideas combined to inspire our entire day. I wanted somewhere truly old, with a garden setting. I had my colors set for a long time — blue, with vibrant pinks to add a splash of color throughout the natural setting. We combined the antique look of Waterloo Village with the natural surroundings, added tons of bright flowers, antique and personal details to create the wedding of our dreams.”
“The most anticipated moment was our vows, because we had written them ourselves…and our first kiss, because I got to stand on a box since Jon is so tall. It was great because everyone was laughing so we had really genuine smiles and laughter. I also looked forward to the children’s involvement in the wedding, since they add an unexpected and light-hearted element to any event, especially since I am so close with all of them.”
