Klaire and Gregg’s Summer Renaissance Inspired Wedding

Before Beyonce released her Summer Renaissance album, Klaire and Gregg embodied a wedding theme that can’t help but remind us of the iconic album.

The two hosted their big day at The Waterfall in Claymont, Delaware. While getting ready for her big day, Klaire was watching and dancing with her bridesmaids to a Beyonce concert playing on TV. After a quick boudoir session in her hotel suite, she shimmied into her pre-bridal outfit to head off to the venue.

GREGG WAS AT THE VENUE SLIDING INTO HIS CUSTOM CREAM SUIT WITH BLACK ACCENTS. WITH A CRISP WHITE SHIRT AND A BLACK BOWTIE HE WAS CLASSIC YET INNOVATIVE, HIS ATTIRE PERFECTLY SET THE TONE FOR THE DAY AHEAD.

When Klaire arrived to the venue’s Bridal Suite, she dressed herself in her gown and then came out to surprise her girls. They then empowered her with uplifting words and advice for the day. They helped to add the finishing touches to her look by adding jewelry and adjusting her sash.

After the final touches were made, the girls made their way down to the Garden where the ceremony was being held. Walking through beautifully landscaped gardens and pass the marble water fountain, Klaire could see the beautiful layout of her ceremony. She walked down the aisle to her groom surrounded by her closest friend and family through a sea of white and blush florals in crystal vases.

She met Gregg at the epicenter of the altar surrounded by large marble columns. The two shared their vows and performed a Sand Ceremony before sharing their first kiss as husband and wife.

After the ceremony guests were led through arched French doors to a rotunda that features an exquisite handmade blown-glass chandelier. Past the rotunda was the cocktail room where guests enjoyed cocktails and freshly-prepared cuisine. With 18-foot ceilings, an endless skylight, and a glowing onyx stone wall behind the bar, the couple was confident that their guests were enjoying themselves as we captured their formal family photos and their formal bride and groom portraits.

Their photos and video came out clean, bold and radiant.

We led them back through the garden before taking them to their reception to party the night away with their guests. They were introduced to do their guests and a beautiful uproar echoed through the building. So many people came from out of state to celebrate this couple (including us) and it was just so beautiful to see these two united in marriage.

As classy and beautiful as this day was we love that these two were not afraid to have fun with it too! For dessert they had an amazing dessert bar that featured blue cotton candy, churros, cake and ice cream (among other goodies).
