Molly and Jake’s Intimate Outdoor Wedding in Nashville

Molly and Jake met at their church, 5 Stones, and got engaged shortly after. We photographed their engagement outside at Harlinsdale Farms in Tennessee. They began planning for a fall wedding, one of the most popular times to get married here in Tennessee.

Molly and Jake were married in the peak of the fall colors in Tennessee at their outdoor venue, Battle Mountain Farm. They got ready separately and had an emotional first look together. They stood under the gazebo privately to read the letters they wrote to one another and had a moment uninterrupted. It was one of my favorite parts of their day. They proceeded to their ceremony which was timed beautifully for sunset, providing the softest light on them while they said their vows. Afterwards, we went into the field with the mountains as a back drop to take their sunset portraits. Molly and Jake are so carefree and fun, it made for the most beautiful portraits just running around in the field and Jake spinning her around.

Then at their reception they had karaoke which was a hit, provided by Unique Sounds and Equipment. They sang songs from High School Musical and it was so nostalgic, everyone at the reception joined in!  At the end of the night, Jake had them run through a giant football sign labeled “The Browns” for their exit. It’s hilarious to me because they are making the same exact face to me when they burst through the sign. Their guests sent them off with glow sticks for a perfect fall wedding day in Nashville.
