(From the bride) When we first got engaged and started brainstorming for our wedding, we stumbled upon the Loring Pasta Bar and Varsity Theater, which we felt fit our style perfectly. We were looking for a non-traditional space that spoke for itself with tons of character. The bohemian atmosphere with endless amounts of exposed brick, velvet, jewel-toned tapestries, chandeliers and greenery simply felt right. These spaces had a domino effect and sparked the inspiration for the rest of the day’s little details. The dress, veil and headpiece came from Anthropologie’s wedding website, Beholden. I liked the more relaxed fit of the wedding dress and the hand painted veil felt special. The wedding party wore ensembles that fit within the general color scheme, but we really wanted their personal styles to shine through. The bold floral tied the whole look together with the wild greenery and touches of color from Japanese peonies. A live band and cake bar with festive flavors such as bacon chocolate really brought the party to life! We couldn’t have wished for a more perfect day.
