Amanda and Derek’s Lakeside Elopement in Colorado

Although they didn’t hang out with each other at the time, Amanda and Derek met each other in middle school and high school. Fifteen years later after graduating, they stayed in touch through Facebook and one day Amanda went to dinner at the restaurant Derek works to say “Hi”. They exchanged phone numbers and here they are…married!

Amanda loves how thoughtful Derek is in always wanting the best for his closest family and friends. Derek loves how strong Amanda is when overcoming life’s obstacles. Their favorite activities involve breakfast at Bacon Social followed by a walk around a small mountain town. They love going to make new experiences by exploring places!

They are both born and raised in Colorado so a ceremony in Morrison overlooking the forest, lake, and Red Rocks just made sense for them.
