For Dustii and Hal, January 28, 2023 was a special day. That’s when they became husband and wife. The sound of bagpipes, tears of happiness from family and friends, and lots and lots of love filled Summerall Chapel, which became the location for the ceremony.
The couple was inspired by a Victorian grand millennial theme to create their wedding. A white and blue vintage southern look. Elegant and sophisticated, majestic and beautiful.
The groom attended The Citadel, so after the ceremony, The newlyweds were welcomed under the saber arch. It is a very interesting tradition, according to which the bride and groom must pass under the honorable arch of sabers.
Not to mention the bride’s gorgeous gown. A fitted silhouette, airy sleeves and an elegant train. The veil and original jewelry complemented the delicate wedding image. The bouquet organically combined white flowers and greenery.
The team of bridesmaids appeared in long dresses of dark blue color. How harmoniously they complemented the ceremony!
The groom, as well as his team, appeared in a classic black suit. But the main trick of the image was the original bright bow tie and lapel pin made of feathers.
Reception of the wedding was The Citadel Beach Club. A wonderful place by the ocean for an unforgettable evening with family and friends.
A few photos of the couple were taken in the rays of the setting sun on the beach near the wedding site. Just enjoy this beautiful atmosphere of tenderness and love.
Although Dustii and Hal are both from upstate, they were brought together by their college studies in Charleston. So it’s no surprise that the couple chose this particular city for their ceremony. And now the beautiful relationship story of five years has a new continuation.
We decided to ask Dustii, “What do you love most about him?” And received the following wonderful answer, filled with warmth and love: “What I love most about him is his ability to always make me laugh and there is never a dull moment. He can turn my bad moods into good ones with just one look.
To the same question, Hal answered without hesitation the following: “What I love most about her is how she pushes me to do things that I don’t want to do but she knows it’s for the better. I love how she makes me feel when we are together. I never feel whole when I’m not with.”
Our team of Charleston wedding photographers would like to congratulate you once again on your wedding day. We are thrilled that you chose us to capture your wedding. We want to wish you as many sunny and happy days in your life as possible.
