Tara and Seth’s Colorado Forest Elopement

Tara and Seth wanted to get married near Seth’s family vacation home in South Fork, Colorado. The views from the house alone are stunning! They got ready in separate rooms of the house. Tara’s mom and closest friends helped her into her dress.  Seth helped Tara’s son (soon to be his son legally too!) put on his little suit jacket. When they were both ready they had their first look overlooking the river behind the cabin. Then, we got in their truck and their closest family and friends rode down to a beautiful secluded spot in the forest for their ceremony. After their ceremony we drove further up the road for family photos with a waterfall view in the background!

Once we finished up group photos, everyone left to go back to the house to get ready for a little reception, while I stayed with Tara and Seth to hike around and take some awesome couples portraits! We had lake views, a waterfall, and even some of the trees were starting to turn yellow for the fall! Soon it was time for us to head back to the house for their reception. On the menu was pizza!!! Tara and Seth’s family set up a tables on the back patio of the house, string lights created a beautiful atmosphere, and they also had a campfire! We ended the night with some lantern and star photos, everything was perfect!
